Chongqing University of TechnologyIt is a key construction university in Chongqing and an ordinary undergraduate college with a military background in southwest China.
The school can be traced back to the 11th Technical School of the National Government Military Affairs Department (alias "Shi Ji Gong Xue") founded in 1940. After 1950, the school was renamed as 21 Arsenal Industrial Vocational School, Southwest Industrial School of Southwest Military and Political Commission, Chongqing Machinery Industry School, Southwest First Industrial School of the Second Ministry of Machinery Industry, Chongqing Industrial School, Chongqing Machinery Manufacturing Industrial School, Chongqing First Machinery Manufacturing Industrial School. In 1957, Kunming Instrument Manufacturing Industrial School was incorporated into metal cutting. In 1960, it was promoted to Chongqing Industrial Junior College School. In 1965, it was upgraded to Chongqing Institute of Technology. In 1985, with the approval of the State Education Commission, it was transformed into Chongqing Institute of Industrial Management. In 1999, it was transferred to Chongqing by China Ordnance Industry Corporation, and implemented a management system jointly built by the central and local governments and based on local management. In the same year, it was renamed Chongqing Institute of Technology. In 2001, Chongqing Economic Management Cadre College was incorporated as a whole. In 2009, it was renamed Chongqing University of Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
School of Automotive Engineering, Wuhan University of TechnologyThe predecessor was the automobile and tractor department established by the former Wuhan Institute of Technology in 1961, which was renamed the automobile department in 1984. In 1995, Wuhan Institute of Technology was renamed Wuhan University of Automotive Technology, and the Institute of Automotive Engineering was formally established in the same year. On May 27, 2000, after the former Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan Jiaotong University of Science and Technology, and Wuhan University of Automotive Technology merged to form Wuhan University of Technology, after discipline and setting adjustments, the School of Automotive Engineering of Wuhan University of Technology was established in June 2001.
College of Automotive Engineering is the characteristic college of Wuhan University of Technology, and the automobile discipline is the key construction discipline of the national "211 Project. The college now has three undergraduate courses in vehicle engineering, thermal energy and power engineering, and automobile service engineering. It has the right to grant master's degree in vehicle engineering, power machinery and engineering, vehicle application engineering, vehicle application engineering, and automotive electronics engineering. The School of Automotive Engineering, the Automotive Research Institute and the Electric Vehicle Research Institute jointly support the construction and development of the automotive discipline. During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, the School of Automotive Engineering focused on the construction of "one base, two centers" (I. e., "New Energy and Electric Vehicle Key Technology Research Base", "Automotive Innovation Design Engineering Research Center" and "Automotive Service Engineering Research Center") The automotive discipline platform has established a coordinated development of the automotive discipline system.
